Giulio Cesari Ricci wanted to celebrate the 35th fonè anniversary with a selection of the most beautiful pieces from the classical fonè line, with various formations: quartet, cello solo, piano solo, chamber and symphony orchestra. The recordings are in perfect fonè style, as is the use of places with natural acoustics such as a Historic Theatre, Auditorium, Music Salon and an Ancient Oratory. Giulio Cesare Ricci used the legendary original Neumann U47, U48, M49 tube microphones The master was made with the Ampex ATR 102 (Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351 - 1965) 2 tracks 1/2 inch 30ips modified by David Manley. The mastering for the vinyl was carried out by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the entirely analog and valve Signoricci system. A state of the art system without any sound manipulation, nor equalization, nor reverb, nor compression and expansion...but natural sound with true timbre.
