Conceived, recorded and produced by Giulio Cesare Ricci
Recorded at the Auditorium Museo Piaggio Pontedera July 17th, 2021
Recording assistant: Paola Liberato
Valve microphones: Neumann U47, U48, M49
Mike pre-amplifiers, cables (line, microphone, supply): Signoricci

The Master has been implemented with Ampex ATR 102 (Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351 - 1965) 2 tracks, 1/2inch  30ips modified by David Manley.

This album is part of recordings I made on the occasion of concerts of the fonè Music Festival Piaggio edition 2021. I realized this recording at the Auditorium Piaggio located inside the famous Museum in Pontedera, the place where Piaggio was born and where it still continues to produce today. Inside the Museum every year the public from all over the world can admire the Piaggio production made over the years, all the models of the Vespe and Ape, all the Aprilia, Gilera and Moto Guzzi motorcycles that have won national and international awards over time.

For this recording I brought all my equipment both analog (Ampex ATR 102 Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351-1965, 2 tracks, 1/2 inch, 30ips modified by David Manley) and digital (Pyramix Recorder, dCS A/D and D/A converters). As for microphones I used my original collection of Neumann U47, U48, M49 in addition to the mike pre-amplifier and Signoricci cables. This is because I have always created two Masters for each recording: an analogue master for Vinyls and a DSD digital master for SuperAudioCDs.   A state-of-the-art system with no sound manipulation, no equalization, no reverb, no compression and expansion ... but natural sound with true timbre to best enhance the acoustics of the Auditorium of the Piaggio Museum.

Also for this recording I used a "field effect" recording technique... all this to bring the listener to live again in his home hifi system, the live effect as if he were present at the performance. In this album protagonists are Raiz voice & Radicanto (G. De Trizio classic guitar, A. La Volpe Portuguese guitar, electric guitar, oud - F. De Palma percussion). Among tracks played to highlight Astrigneme (G.Della Volpe, P.P.Polcari) that gives the title to the album, Cammina Cammina (P.Daniele)  Era de maggio (J.Carreras, M.P.Costa) Jerusalem (Koné Seydou)

An album not to be missed
