This recording is a tribute to the maestria de trobar, a poetical-musical art whose songs are composed according to inspiration, along with science, knowledge, skill and inventiveness.
Gérard Zuchetto studies the poetical and musical works into original manuscripts. By digging into the roots of trobar he searches for an authenticity and an interpretation of the canso from days gone by, in order to render its true tones and emotions. He is the author of several recordings dedicated to troubadours and to contemporary poetry of the langue d'oc.
