With this album continues the collaboration of Giulio Cesare Ricci with the great conductor Gianandrea Noseda and the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio of Torino.
After Nikolaj Rimsky-Korsakov's Sheherazade Symphony Suite and Gustav Mahler's Second Symphony, it is now the turn of Mahler's Ninth Symphony.
Giulio Cesare Ricci for this recording used the legendary original Neumann tube microphones U47, U48, M49
Recorded in Stereo DSD on Pyramix using dCS A/D and D/A converters
It is a live recording that keeps all the naturalness, dynamics and realism of the performance intact.
A recording made in the natural acoustics of the Teatro Regio in Torino, without sound manipulation, equalization, reverb, compression and expansion...but natural sound with real sound.
