This prestigious album was recorded in two different moments and places: the "Serenade per violino, archi, arpa e percussioni" by Leonard Bernstein was recorded at the Teatro Unione in Viterbo in November 1998. While the piece "Tanti anni prima" by Astor Piazzolla "versione per solista e orchestra d'archi by José Bragato - violin revision by Salvatore Accardo" was recorded in May 2001 at the Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra, Rome. For the recording Giulio Cesare Ricci used the original Neumann U47, U48 and M49 tube microphones. The master was made with the AMPEX ATR 102 (Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351-1965) 2 tracks 1/2" 30ips modified by David Manley. The mastering for vinyl was made by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the Signoricci system, entirely analog and tube.
