"When I joined Avion Travel in 1990 I was 20, Fausto 18 years older than me. In almost 30 years of "music" and life spent together, first with Avion Travel, but also with the Nada trio and in other collaborations, Fausto taught me a lot, both musically and humanly. Even for Avion Travel themselves he has always been a point of reference both in musical writing and in the production of our records. He was also a very good studio engineer. When Giulio Cesare Ricci sent me these files that Fausto had sent him years ago, extrapolated from a live concert in duo, the emotion was great. Together with Alessandro Guasconi of the Virus studio in Siena, we preferred in the editing and mixing phase, to also keep some inaccuracies or off-key notes, in order to print this live that once again testifies to Fausto's uniqueness as a guitarist, starting from his unique and unmistakable sound with his beloved "Chet Atkins" and his a 360-degree way of understanding music, ranging from pop, to rock, to jazz, to his original songs. He, who didn't like to call himself a jazz musician, improvises a lot in these tracks. I hope you can relive for 43 minutes, maybe with your eyes closed, the uniqueness of this live. " [Ferruccio]
