In over 30 years of collaboration with Salvatore Accardo, Giulio Cesare Ricci released numerous albums dedicated to the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Among these, there are violin concertos, sinfonia concertante, quartets, trios, quintets, and violin-piano duos, with Salvatore Accardo and other great artists (Prague Chamber Orchestra, Toby Hoffman, Margaret Batjer, Rocco Filippini, Franco Petracchi, Cynthia Phelps, Augusto Loppi, and Bruno Canino). All of these albums have been released individually or collected in special box sets, such as those for the 25th and 30th anniversaries of Fonè. To introduce Mozart’s music and make it appreciated, especially by young enthusiasts and those approaching classical music for the first time through Fonè, Giulio Cesare Ricci has decided to select some very special pieces from these albums, ranging from violin concertos and orchestral works to quartets, trios, duets, and other compositions, all chosen for their beauty and musical value. The reason is to create this album that not only offers an exclusive and captivating musical selection but also excellent sound quality. This album stands out for the beauty of the chosen pieces and its sonic quality, making it an unmissable release for classical music lovers.
